Policies and data protection
Recov holds health and wellbeing information about children. These documents set out exactly what we collect, who can see it, how long we keep it, where it is processed, and what you can ask us to do about it.
If you want to know about your own data
Your data, explained
What we know about you, who can see it, and what you can ask for. Written for you, not for your parents.
Privacy notice for parents and guardians
Every purpose, the lawful basis for each, who we share with, and what our consent settings do and do not control.
Privacy notice for club staff
What we hold about you, what you can see about the young people in your care, and the rules you are responsible for keeping.
Your rights, and how to use them
Access, correction, erasure, objection, portability and withdrawing consent — who may exercise each right, and how to complain to the ICO.
The detail
How long we keep data
The retention schedule, category by category, including the records we will not delete on request and the reasons we rely on.
Sub-processors
The four companies that receive data from Recov, exactly what reaches each of them, and the safeguards that apply.
Cookies
Two strictly necessary cookies, no analytics and no advertising. A short page, because there is little to say.
Using Recov
Terms of service and acceptable use
The agreement between Recov, the clubs that use it, and the people with accounts — including the conduct rules that protect young athletes' data.
How these documents are written
Every factual statement here describes the software as it runs, not as it was designed. Where Recov deliberately withholds something — a coach receiving nothing from an athlete's journal, a guardian seeing less than a coach, a welfare officer who cannot look up a child — the notice says so plainly, because those limits are the product working as intended.
Each document carries a version and an effective date. When behaviour changes, the document changes with it and the version moves.
