Your first day on Recov.

From your invite to finding your way around — what to expect, in order. Recov works right in your browser, on your phone or a computer, so you don't need to download anything to get started.

Seven steps

  1. Get your invite

Your coach invites you by email. The link takes you to a short sign-up form with your name already filled in — check it's spelled right — plus your date of birth and a password (at least 10 characters; no symbol rules to remember).

  2. Under 18? One extra step

You don't type in a parent or guardian's email — your club already gave us that when they invited you. We email them to ask them to approve your account, and nothing is set up until they do. Once they've said yes, you can sign in.

  3. Sign in

Go to app.recov.club and sign in with the email your invite was sent to and the password you chose — or tap "Use a magic link instead" for a one-time email link instead.

  4. 18 or over? Choose what Recov can use

Straight after your first sign-in, you'll be asked to turn on — or leave off — each permission for yourself: things like meal photos and wearable sync. Nothing is on by default. Under 18, this isn't yours to set — your parent or guardian does it from their own account, and either of you can change it later.

  5. Find your way around

Five tabs, one for each part of the day:

    • Today — enter resting heart rate, sleep, HRV and sleep quality in one go; a hydration guide; and any pattern flagged from your soreness log.
    • Train — today's squad session, and a place to log a run, gym session or anything else not on the programme.
    • Fuel — photograph a meal, or type what you ate, for a fuelling verdict; see the day's meals and verdicts so far.
    • Night — a short guided journal (tap or type, skip any question), and where you log soreness.
    • Injury — report a new injury, and see every report about you, including any your coach has raised.
  6. Know who sees what

Your coach sees your training and progress, your injury reports, and your fuelling verdict — never a meal photo, never what you typed about food, never your journal. Your journal has exactly one reader: you. The full picture.

  7. Sharing a device

Reload the page and Recov tells you whose session it is, so you always know if you're looking at your own account. Signing out takes one tap — worth doing on a shared phone or family iPad.

You're set up when

Under 18? What's different for you

Your journal and your meal photos stay with you — not your coach, not your parent, not anyone at your club. A linked guardian is the only one who can turn your consent switches on; either of you can turn one off at any time. Your guardian sees less of your day-to-day than your coach does, on purpose. Why, in full.

What happens next

Your coach plans your sessions from here — you log results, how you're fuelling, and how you're doing. Keep the habit going day to day and the record does the rest: no export button, no extra steps, just what you type staying where it belongs.
